  • 10/7/24 - Partnered with Bright Pet Nutrition Group to receive 42,981 lbs of dog and cat food on 35 pallets for Hurricane Helene victims in TN, VA and NC
  • 10/27/22 - Asked to be a featured panelist with The Humane Society of the United States - Puppy Mills Campaign to speak on how to take action against puppy mills in Tennessee
  • 9/19/22 - Rescued new pet Jerzee from the streets!
  • 12/21 - Recipient of the KOSBE Young Entrepreneur Excellence Award
  • 12/23/21 -Met with these incredible women to discuss upcoming legislation to help protect animals & consumers in the area: Jenny Brock - Johnson City Commissioner & Animal Control Board President, Jessica Hyder - The Humane Society of the United States - Tennessee State Director, Tammy Davis - Johnson City/Washington Co Animal Shelter Executive Director
  • 8/10/21 - Met with the new Humane Society of the United States - Tennessee State Director, Jessica Hyder to discuss important topics from regulating puppy mills to law enforcement education.
  • 11/19 - Recipient of the Business Journal of Tri-Cities TN/VA 40 Under Forty Award
  • 1/17-20/17 - Set up meetings with Representatives and Senators as the District Leader from Tennessee Congressional Distrcit 1 for Tennessee Humane Lobby Day with The Humane Soceity of the United States
  • 9/16 - Traveled to Puerto Rico to help conduct humane education workshops alongside The Humane Society of the United States
  • 8/21/16 - Adopted new pet Java from Small Breed Rescue of East TN!
  • 8/9/16 - Spoke on behalf of horses and The Humane Society of the United States at the U.S. Department of Agriculture - APHIS public meeting regarding the USDA's new proposal to regulate horse spring tactics (including eliminating stacks and chains)
  • 7/11/16 - Met with Attorney Erik Zetterberg of Ensley, Baker and Shade in Johnson City, TN to discuss the future of Jurnee's Journey
  • 6/20/16 - National Humane Lobby Day - Spoke with the offices of  Senator Bob Corker, Senator Lamar Alexander, and Representative Phil Roe  at in Washington, D.C. talking about the Humane Cosmetics Act, Preventing Animal Cruelty & Torture Act, Pet and Women Safety Act, Prevent All Soring Tactics Act, and Safeguard American Food Exports Act for The Humane Society of the United States!
  • 6/17-19/16 - Worked at Taking Action for Animals Conference (TAFA) in Arlington, VA hosted by The Humane Society of the United States​
  • 4/18/16 - Officially accepted the position of volunteer District Leader for The Humane Society of the United States! Her mission is to advance and accelerate the adoption of Federal & State humane laws and societal norms relative to animal protection.
  • ​3/9/16 - TN Humane Lobby Day - Spoke with Senator Rusty Crowe and Representative Micah Van Huss in Nashville, TN about passing the Commercial Breeders Registration Act which will lead to less cruelty and more humane treatment of animals in T!
  • 2/22/16 - Recognized by the Tennessee Senate with a Proclamation for her outstanding service to the animal community 
  • 6-7/2015 - Intern for The Humane Society of the United States at their corporate headquarters in Gaithersburg, MD
  • 5/27/12 - Worked at  International Animal Care Expo in Las Vegas to gather signatures to close a loophole in the Animal Welfare Act with the Stop Puppy Mills branch 
  • 7/17/11-Asked to speak at the 7th annual Taking Action For Animals Student Summit hosted by The Humane Society of the United States in Washington, D.C.
  • 5/24/10- Recognized by the State of Tennessee House of Representatives - House Joint Resolution No. 1268/Adopted: May 13, 2010, Received: May 24, 2010
  • 5/14-16/10- Invited to attend International Animal Care Expo for the Humane Society of the United States in Nashville, TN
