Tennessee Humane Lobby Day 2017
Jurnee was honored to lobby as a District Leader for The Humane Society of the United States! She met with Representative Matthew Hill, Senator Rusty Crowe, Representative Timothy Hill, Representative Gary Hicks, Senator Jon Lundberg, and Representative Bud Hulsey to discuss passing the Commercial Dog Breeders Registration Act. Tennessee currently has no laws that require "puppy mill" breeders to be registered and licensed. This means puppy mills are rampant and cruelty and neglect are increasing. Let's end this abuse and neglect in the Volunteer State!
